While we’re expecting the iPhone 7 to be released some time next month, no one really knows what kind of device Apple has been working on for the past several months. Today, a Bloomberg report has possibly shed some light on what kind of phone the iPhone 7 will be, although it appears it won’t be as “revolutionary” as previous numbered iPhones.

According to Bloomberg, the iPhone 7 will offer a similar design to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, which suggests Apple could be holding back on any aesthetic changes to the device until the following year. The phone is also expected to get rid of its headphone jack in favor of connections either via Bluetooth or through its Lightning charging port, have a dual-camera setup, and an updated Home button.

The update Home button will resemble the MacBook’s trackpad, specifically replacing traditional clicks in favor of triggering a series of vibrations under the surface of the phone. Bloomberg doesn’t go into specifics as to what this new Home button would serve, although we think it would be an extension of its 3D touch feature to possibly provide more details or options depending on what the user is doing.
