Quake Champions finally gets a gameplay trailer

Thank you, QuakeCon.

We only got a small taste of Quake Champions at E3 when the game was first announced, but we knew more was around the corner for QuakeCon. Bethesda did not disappoint, as id's Tim Willits took the stage at the show to debut a new trailer.

If you had any doubts about whether the game would bring back memories of the old-school lightning fast action, this will allay those fears. Do not watch if you are prone to motion sickness, because its all about speed, accuracy, rocket jumping and fragging to your heart's content.

The video's description offers: "You’ll have an arsenal of powerful and unique weapons, each of which will feel familiar to long-time Quake players. There’s no loadouts, and no limit to the amount of guns you can carry."

The game will have a closed beta some time next year, with plans to run on high-end PCs at 120hz with unlocked framerates. Right now the game is only slated for PC, but could eventually come to consoles. No promises, though
