Microsoft and The Coalition have announced the Gears eSports Pro Circuit for Gears of War 4, a series of tournaments held all around the world and open to anyone with a copy of the game.

The 10-month tournament kicks off in October and lasts through July 2017. To advance, you compete in daily and weekly tournament bouts, as well as in MLG GameBattles ladders. Earning points helps you qualify for international circuit LAN matches scheduled for every one to two months between the tourney's beginning in October through next summer.

"The Gears Pro Circuit features more international crossplay and competition than ever before in Gears of War history as top teams from North America, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania will qualify via Gears Pro Points to be flown around the world to compete against each other at these events," according to Xbox.com. "Teams that don’t qualify for the top travel spots will still be able to compete at local events or any international event of their choosing."

Events are operated by Major League Gaming (MLG) and Gfinity, and over $1 million in cash prizes are up for grabs.

You can check out the full schedule, and find information pertaining to live broadcasts of tournament matches, on Xbox.com or checking out the announcement video.
