Kerbal Space Program officially launched out of Steam Early Access in April last year,  and has slowly been exploring new platforms. We have now learned the addicting space sim will launch on PlayStation 4 on July 12.

"With completely redesigned controls and gameplay that’s challenging yet fun, you’ll have everything needed to conquer space with the Kerbals," Ezequiel Ayarza, CEO of developer Squad, said on the PlayStation Blog. "Flying your vessel has never been so fun in KSP — using the triggers and sticks on DualShock 4, you can have a more precise analog experience to make advanced maneuvers with your aircraft."

The game uses realistic physics and gives players the sense of being actual space engineers, allowing them to create the own ships, space stations and launch facilities. The game has three modes, Sandox, Career and Science.

It was announced for Xbox One last August, but not much has been heard since then. The will also be landing on Wii U sometime in the future.
