Here's Your First Glimpse At Guts Cutting Down Enemies in Koei Tecmo's Berserk Game

Personally, I'm more of a Griffith fan myself, but Guts looks especially awesome while he's giving these baddies the business here in the first few screenshots taken from the upcoming Koei Tecmo Berserk musou title.
Thanks to Famitsu, which posted its first online preview for the upcoming title, Gematsu was able to pick up some direct-feed screenshots that show off an impressive-looking title with plenty of delicious gore.
It's unclear whether or not the game will feature Guts as the main character or offer a separate path as Griffith, but both are featured in the first screenshots. Perhaps both will have their own separate paths to greatness or the depths of evil featuring none other than Femto himself. Hey, a girl can dream!
The game is headed to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita via retail release and download-only on PlayStation 3 in Japan this September 21, with a PS4, PS Vita, and PC in North America and Europe at a later date.

That PS2 game I imported was post eclipse. If memory serves, it actually took place after Guts had donned the Berserker armor (had feral wolf berserk mode as a gameplay feature, etc.) Not sure, but I think it has a boss fight against Slann made out of troll corpses.
It was a pretty cool game, and felt like a post eclipse continuation of the anime, as I think it had the same voice actors and the same composer from the anime made the music from the game.
