Mighty No. 9 gets last-minute delays across various platforms

We can't believe Mighty No. 9 is still getting delayed after all this time.

Mighty No. 9 was scheduled to launch today, but Comcept has announced a last minute delay due to some unforeseen circumstances, particularly bugs.

In an update to the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter page, Comcept revealed it had issues publishing the Xbox 360 version of the game as a certification bug was discovered in the final round of testing. The bug is causing that version to release several days behind schedule, although Comcept has already re-submitted its final build to Microsoft and hopes the game will go gold within a few days.

Those who backed the Xbox 360 version of Mighty No. 9 will be compensated with a Steam key, allowing them to enjoy the game on PC, Mac, or Linux. That is, when the Mac and Linux versions release as they’re also being delayed as they’re currently in final testing with Deep Silver. Comcept plans for the Mac and Linux versions of Mighty No. 9 to be ready within a few days.

If you’re not planning on playing Mighty No. 9 on Xbox 360, Mac, or Linux, then you’re out of luck for the time being. As for the 3DS and Vita versions, they’re still in development and are expected to be released in the future. Fortunately, those who want to play the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, or PC will be able to do so starting today.
