Three news items related to Raven games collected in one post. First of all Mike Schulenberg updated his .plan with info on a toggle key command that you can bind in Elite Force. Machinima has an interview with Mike Gummelt and Jon Zuk who reply to questions about the cinematics in Elite Force. And lastly, according to Rick Johnson the Soldier of Fortune Gold patch should be out next week after the QA department clears it.

How come in ST:EF I have no problems binding mouse3 and 4 on my explorer mouse? Yet in Q3 I need to bind those buttons to like "shift" and shit through the drivers, so Q3 recognizes it. I hate that shit. I want to use the foward and back button for browsing and I want to use those buttons in Quake3 and Elite Force without the muss or fuss. IS THAT SO WRONG!!!

Yeah I dl'ed the latest version of ICQ. Last version I had was an ancient copy of '99 Beta. Sure looks a lot better after you turn off all the frilly chat buttons.

So how many of you guys here have to suffer through Q3A with a dial up? I still won't be getting DSL for another month (been waiting since July, but I switched to another provider today)? Gotta love that half a second delay between pressing the trigger and when the rocket actually fires. Same with the rail gun...

At least with 1.25 my framerates aren't choppy, but everybody else still looks like a slide show...
