E3 2016: Farpoint Takes Players To The Stars And Beyond

Sony's newest IP looks positively out there.

During its E3 2016 conference this evening, Sony introduced a brand-new IP in the form of Farpoint. 

The sci-fi adventure is very much reminiscent of Mass Effect in several ways, with plenty of enormous aliens that want nothing more than to devour you. Huge spiders? Yeah, it's got that.

The VR adventure, set on a hostile alien planet, finds the player on a mission to pick up scientists busy studying an anomaly near Jupiter.

No further details are available just yet, but I'm interested in hearing more about its unique brand of space exploration.
