During Microsoft's E3 2016 press conference, it was announced Tekken 7 would be releasing in early 2017. 

The announcement was coupled with a trailer showing a fight between Heihachi and Street Fighter's Akuma, who will be a character on the game's roster. 

To celebrate the announcement, starting today Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available free to Xbox Gold Live members via Xbox backwards compatibility.  

During the conference, the Xbox One S and Gears of War 4 cross play between Xbox One and Windows 10 was also announced.
