Deus Ex is officially a universe. Square Enix recently announced that it will hold a pre-E3 showcase event to offer a "first look at our new projects."

The announcement is branded with "Deus Ex Universe," and the event will be helmed by developers from Eidos Montreal and Square Enix Montreal. In what might be a hint as to at least one of the projects, Square Enix Montreal spearheaded Hitman Go and Lara Croft Go titles for mobile platforms.

All will be revealed on June 8 at 11:30a Eastern / 8:30a Pacific. You can watch the event on the publisher's official Deus Ex Twitch channel.

First announced back in 2013, the Deus Ex universe encompasses core games in the series, such as 2011's Human Revolution and this year's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, due out on August 23, as well as other products connected to the mythology.
