Blizzard cracking down on Overwatch porn
The developer is issuing DMCAs for copyright infringement.
There's a disturbingly active community around Overwatch porn (so I've heard), and Blizzard's none too happy about it. Creators of illicit videos featuring characters from the game such as Tracer and Widowmaker are receiving DMCA threats from the developer warning uploaders to remove it immediately.
"We have disabled the following material as a result of a third-party notification claiming that this material is infringing," one creator of a video titled 'Crossing Worlds – Tracer, Widowmaker, Liara [FUTA].'"
I'm pretty sure I have at least three letters in that acronym pegged—sorry, poor choice of words—but I haven't decided how curious I am about the fourth.

It may fall under parody use if they avoid trademarks. There's a reason all those Batman / Seinfeld / Brady Bunch XXX movies are still available.
I don't really think it should be fair use, but the prevalence of so much "parody" porn makes me think the legal justification has to be pretty solid. -

the reason why the others are up is because there was no claim made against them
once a claim is made, valid or no it is taken down until disputed. So, either the other ones were disputed successfully or the others did not have claims against them.
not all claims are valid, and if this one is found invalid... they can be taken to court because false claims are illegal.

Almost every female character is a cheesecake anime porn type in this game. Asses and bodies in skin-tight liquid-like spandex, but this is too far? I love when companies act indignant like this.
Like Capcom's recent ruling about porn companies sponsoring players. Can't have the kids being demonized by adult imagery. But all their female characters are showing their ass cracks and putting their vaginas in peoples faces in the game. Not to mention that most of the alt costumes take it even further.-

Up until I happened across that article by accident, I had no idea people were generating Esurance porn. I wasn't surprised, mind you, but I never imagined it could be to such a degree that the company would try to get involved.

Worked so well for Google Maps when they allowed people to draw on their maps and ended up with national parks the shape of a penis.
They locked it down eventually but still there's stuff that are cook shaped when it shouldn't be. -
