There’s nothing like the joy of jumping into a game and playing alongside your friends. That’s the best way to play a lot of games these days, and Overwatch is no different. Soemtimes, however, games make the process of joining up with friends a hassle, usually pushing many players to fly it solo instead of having to jump through hoops just to group up with their friends. Thankfully, Blizzard isn’t new to the MP scene, and they’ve made group up with your friends pretty easy. This guide will showcase the ease of joining up with friends to help you get into your upcoming battles as quickly as possible.

The first thing you need to do is make sure you have your friends added on Battle.net. That’s a really simple process. Login to your Battle.net application, and click the add friend option in the upper righthand corner. Then paste in their username and number, and that will add them to your friend's list.

Now simply log in to the game and wait for it to load up the main menu. Once on the main menu click on the Social option.

Or you can click on this little icon next to your player icon and name.

Once you click on either of those, this list of your friends will pop up, and you can click on the add button beside their name.

Once they are added to the group, and accept their invite, you will be able to see their player icon to the left of yours.

And that’s it. That’s all there is to adding grouping up with a friend in Overwatch. As I said before, Blizzard has made the process really simple to complete, making it much easier for players to simply jump into the game and group up really easily.
