Games With Gold announces June's free games for Xbox One and 360
Xbox One users will get four games as a birthday present.
Games with Gold is turning three next month, and to celebrate, Microsoft is offering Xbox One gamers a rather rich reward: Two games designed for the console and two more for the 360 that are backward compatible.
As with all GWG titles, each title has limited availability:
- Goat Simulator: June 1-30 on Xbox One
- The Crew: June 16-July 15 on Xbox One
- Super Meat Boy: June 1-15 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One
- XCOM Enemy Unknown: June 16-30 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One
The four titles are worth about $95 at retail. And, of course, you need to be an Xbox Live Gold member.
This month, GWG offered Defense Grid 2, Peggle, Grid 2 and Costume Quest 2.

I don't think they have released a single thing in the last year that I was interested in. It was pretty good at first, but I'll probably let my sub lapse until they release something worth re-subscribing for.

Im definitely not resubscribing to ps+ when mine runs out in 2 months. Ive played like 3 games from their free list in the last year and only one of them more than a couple hours. (rocket league)

I would be pretty stoked if they released Knack, but it's not a generic indie sidescroller so there's no chance that will happen.

Huh? It's not their best month but Xbox Gold is one of the best gaming deals around period.

4 games a month that are pretty damn awesome. I get a year of xbox live for about 35 and it comes with 48 games over the year. 48 games. Thats a steal.

That's a damn good deal in anybodies book. To top it off you get some steep discounts on games along with the free stuff as well.
