The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine will receive massive update ahead of launch

CD Projekt Red is laying groundwork ahead of the anticipated expansion, due on May 31.

With Blood and Wine, the third and final expansion for CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3 less than two weeks away, CDPR reps are doling out information to help fans get ready for the patch.

The developer will roll out a hefty update for the expansion ahead of its May 31 release. According to community manager Marcin Momot, "Depending on your platform it will range from 10 to 15 GB," per aTwitter post.

A precise release date for the update has not been revealed, although Momot promised to "share more info soon."

Like an overturned carafe, info for Blood and Wine has trickled out over the past few weeks. A full achievements list has been revealed, and Witcher 3 designers spent lots of time delivering insightful answers to fan questions regarding quest design.
