Twitter user Nerd Leaks dug up quite a find earlier today: footage of an unannounced Star Wars-themed RTS. TIE Fighters, the Falcon, and other ships zoom around the sky while Luke Skywalker commands forces on the ground on the desert planet of Tattooine.

Refer to Vimeo to check out the footage.

Nerd Leaks spotted the video, but it was a developer by the name of Elise Baldwin who posted it. Baldwin worked as an audio director on several entries in EA's The Sims series, and claims to have worked on the audio for the Star Wars RTS.

There is no confirmation that the game was an EA project, though it's entirely possible given EA's recent announcement that it will publish at least one Star Wars game per year over the next three years.

Per Baldwin's description of the video, the game was "in development for over a year," featured a simulation mode and a tactical mode, and switched graphics engines three times before ostensibly landing on the tech seen in the video.
