TechZone posts information on using excess RAM to RAMDisk Q3Test, which only ~65MBs. Buy four 512MB DIMMs and then you can RAMDisk the full thing when it comes out!

Wow, Sounds like a great idea but the ramdisk created will not allow long file names! Are there more details? qagamex86.dll is too long and I cannot figure out how to make it support the long file name. I used a hex editor to change every occurence of qagamex86 with qagamex8.dll and quake3.exe complains about a corrupt executeable (checksum no doubt).
