XBox All Over

Well, when Halo was stolen from left PC, I was considering buying an Xbox, but I'm not sure about MMORPG's. What kinda connect to the internet they gonna have? Cause how are they going to hook up any speeds faster than 56k? How would they support DSL?

I have a friend working on the Xbox team at MS here in Redmond, and though I can't go into much about alot of what he told me due to NDA's (things even I shouldnt know)...the games for the Xbox will be potentially larger in sze (more hours of play) than most, even comparetively to PC titles...mainly this is due to a new compression method and the use of the hdd in the Xbox...

Blah. The Dreamcast has "so many developers", and what does it have? Lots and lots and lots and LOTS and... a fucking huge steaming pile of SHITTY GAMES! Go to the DC section of any video game store (or even worse, a Blockbuster), throw a rock and you'll hit a turd.

A big section of those developers MS has signed are PC developers, which means they know exactly dick about making console games. Anyone who's ever played Quake64 or Diablo for the PSX knows what I'm talking about. Some MS guy in a recent interview even said there'd be no keyboard & mouse, so there's not even a /chance/ a PC-type game would fly on the XBox.

Unless this phat stack of developers remembers that games like Metroid and Final Fantasy define what consoles are, *and figure out how to make them*, the XBox is gonna be a pile.
