Does your love for The Binding of Isaac need to run unbound and unfettered? On May 10, you'll be able to purchase Afterbirth, a DLC pack bursting with extra features, for $10.99 on PS4 and Xbox One.

Developer Nicalis, Inc., also known for Cave Story and 1001 Spikes, touted the loads of additions and upgrades you can expect in Afterbirth. "Isaac returns to the basement for more delicious brown stains with more than 100 hours of additional gameplay, 1000-plus new clench-inducing rooms, a whole stinkload of new items and more," the developer said in a press release. "Cry your way past droves upon droves of new mysterious creatures, many of which are made from raw errant feces and help Isaac fight his way to safety."

Lots of other cool features stem from Afterbirth's impressive "100 hours of additional gameplay." New Daily Runs will be tracked on leaderboards, a revamped combo system gives you more input in how you deal out death, and 120 extra items bump the item count to over 500.

Afterbirth will also be made available on Wii U, though Nicalis didn't specify a release date. Don't look for it on iOS, though: Apple's thinking of the children, because someone had to.

If you haven't descended into Isaac's dusty dungeons on PC in a while, you can play Afterbirth right now, as it was released last October.
