Liftoff in 3... 2... 1... 1.1, that is! Kerbal Space Program developer Squad has rolled out Turbo Charged, the 1.1 patch for its popular space flight sim.

"After almost a year of hard work our major update is finally here," the developer shared on KSP's official forums. "In the package you’ll find a large boost in performance due to the upgrade to the Unity 5 game engine, 64 bit binaries for Windows and OSX that will help you mod the game to ridiculous lengths, and the brand new KSPedia reference guide for all the information you need to play the game!"

Besides KSpedia, a handy dandy in-game reference, Turbo Charged adds a brand new UI engineered to cater to new systems available in Unity 5.

The developers also scrapped KSP's tutorials and started from scratch in order to better cover topics such as basic and advanced construction, flight, and executing picture-perfect gravity turns.
