Nintendo discounting digital games on Wii U, 3DS eShop

Save on digital titles and earn points toward My Nintendo rewards.

Spring is in the air, and so are savings on digital games for Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. Boot up your eShop of choice and score first-party games like Mario Kart 8 for $42, Mario Party 10 for $35, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. for $28.

Those savings are okay, discounted at 30 percent but there are better deals to be found. Duck Tales Remastered, normally $15, sells for only $5 during the sale. These and other savings will run through Thursday, April 21, at 8:59a Pacific.

As a reminder, My Nintendo—the rewards program that succeeded Club Nintendo—gives you gold points in exchange for purchasing digital titles, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of pre-purchasing Star Fox Zero for Wii U. It'll run you $49.99, a $10 savings on the physical package.
