Star Wars: The Old Republic gets a new chapter in Visions in the Dark

Things are getting darker and more ominous for Knights of the Fallen Empire.

Since the Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire revised the storyline back in October, BioWare has been pushing out new chapters to the saga, with the player as the Outlander, a veteran of the Galactic War. In February, players got the Anarchy in Paradise chapter, and today players get the Visions in the Dark episode.

Things apparently aren't getting any easier for the player as "the Outlander must face the Immortal Emperor Valkorion and confront the truth about his/her destiny." As part of today's package, players get a new Alliance mission that will have them hunting for a a Sith artifact on the planet Yavin. An ancient Dashade warrior named Ak'ghal Usar will be there, and can be recruited as a companion.

If PvP is preferred, there are two new arenas: the 8v8 Odessen Proving Grounds and the 4v4 Rishi Cove Arena.

A new “Visionary” Cartel Market Pack will also be available, which will give players the chance to get items such as Grand Master Satele Shan’s gear and a new Acklay creature mount.

Subscribers to The Old Republic get this chapter and all future ones for free. If you are part of the Subscriber Rewards Program, you will also receive early access to future chapters and special in-game items such as HK-55’s Sniper Rifle, Blaster Pistol and Vibrosword.
