Mini-Mario and Friends Marching to Wii U and 3DS

Today's Nintendo Direct brought some adorable surprises with it, mainly in the form of Mini-Mario and Friends for Wii U and 3DS.

Taking the familiar Mario vs. Donkey Kong gameplay you may be used to and translating it to the world of amiibo, it allows you to play a free-to-play game on Wii U and 3DS depending on which one of 10 compatible amiibo figures you own.

For Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon customers, there will be early access to the game on March 25 ahead of its official release on April 28 on either the Wii U or 3DS Nintendo eShop.
