Tom Clancy's The Division Will Utilize Eye Tracking At Launch

More like 'The Vision,' amirite?

Ubisoft has announced a very interesting aspect that'll be included with Tom Clancy's The Division: eye tracking. When the PC version of the game launches March 8, anyone with equipment like the SteelSeries Sentry Eye Tracker will be able to use specific features unique to this technology.

Eye tracking may seem like a silly augment, but it sounds like it can add some interesting mechanics to the game. Some HUD elements can turn opaque and blend into the background if players aren't looking at them.

The camera can shift itself to where the player is looking, and enemies the player is looking at will be tagged with markers automatically. There's a whole host of VR-esque actions that can be performed via eye tracking, so if you were finally looking for a way to put some of that tech to use, here it is!
