Street Fighter 5 released this week, and while Capcom attempts to put out all of its server fires, Sony has given it a reason to put some serious work into its online component as its PlayStation 4 will be enjoying a free multiplayer weekend starting on Friday.

The free multiplayer weekend starts Friday, February 19th at 12:01am PT and will end on Sunday, February 21st at 11:59pm PT. During that time, PlayStation 4 owners can proceed to play online multiplayer games without the need of being a PlayStation Plus subscriber. That means if you just purchased Street Fighter 5, you can proceed to attempt to take on all comers on both the PS4 and PC, that is, if Capcom is able to keep its servers stable this weekend.
