Weekend console download deals: Even more Deadpool!

Can't get enough of Deadpool? The console version of his game is on sale, too, along with a few other marquee Xbox and PlayStation games.

You thought you could escape Deadpool! But your chances of escaping the Merc with the Mouth are about the same as you turning on the TV and not hearing the words "X Gonna Give it to Ya!" Deadpool is everywhere and that includes the weekend's console deals! He's all over everything called Xbox or PlayStation. (Not Nintendo, though. Court order says Deadpool must stay 500 yards away from Mario and Princess Peach at all times.)

Okay, there are a few games on sale that don't star a wisecracking mercenary. PlayStation users can find a big-time Flash Sale going on right now, while Xbox Live Gold users can find Mortal Kombat X on Xbox One, and Nintendo users can find a wide range of indie games on sale for Wii U. Check out the full list of deals below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
