A new Dead Island game has been rated in Australia

What could Dead Island Retro Revenge be?

2

There hasn’t been much talk around Dead Island 2 since it was first delayed to 2016 and then pulled from developer Yager, but today, a new Dead Island title, called Dead Island Retro Revenge, has popped up in the Australian Classification board.

Dead Island Retro Revenge has been classified as an M-rated game, which comes as no surprise considering the source material includes tons of blood and dismemberment. The game was classified today and is being published by Kock Media GMBH, which is an extended brand of Deep Silver.

As for who is behind the game, the listing mentions Empty Clip Studios, who have developed a number of mobile, handheld, and a few PC and console games.

We’ve reached out to Deep Silver for comment and will update our story accordingly.
