Mode 7 has announced Frozen Synapse 2 will launch in 2016.

The announcement was made through the launch of the upcoming title’s official website. The site features an image of what Frozen Synapse 2 looks like, along with the words “Open World Tactics.”

Frozen Synapse launched back in May 2011 and currently has a Very Positive rating on its Steam page. Speaking of the original game, it’s currently on sale for 75% off of its original pricing, which should give those who have yet to play it enough of an incentive to try it out prior to the launch of its sequel.
