Want to stare longingly at a cacodemon? How about some beautiful imps to adorn your coffee table? You need The Art of DOOM, a "massive art tome" by way of Dark Horse Books and Bethesda, which will hit store shelves on June 8 this year.

The book looks like it'll feature some pretty interesting artwork, as it will feature concept art and sketches that went previously unreleased. There's also a look at the game's development, weapon creation, and the Doom Marine himself. If you prefer reading to poring over pictures, there's some commentary here too from id Software.

Preorder the limited edition here via the official Bethesda store, which features a slipcase featuring a wrap-around image of the Marine, cloth portfolio with a 9x12 lithograph, and a redemption code for the digital version of the book.

This book is cool and all, but I'm still thinking about picking up one of the adorable plushies.
