At this week’s CES, NVIDIA announced Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was coming to the SHIELD Android TV on Thursday, January 7. The title has launched at the promotional price of $14.99 (regular price $29.99) and will require the processing power of the Tegra X1 in order to play.

The NVIDIA SHIELD version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance brings the cult-classic PC and console action game to the Android platform, leveraging both the performance and capabilities of the Tegra X1 chip. The SHIELD Android TV version of the game includes the base game and all three DLC missions: Blade Wolf, Jetstream, and VR Missions. Players should also expect all customized body upgrades for Raiden. These include: White Armor, Inferno Armor, Commando Armor, Raiden’s MGS4 body, and the Cyborg Ninja.

For those who may not have played Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance when it released back in 2013, the title takes the iconic Metal Gear franchise into new territory by focusing on delivering an action-packed experience unlike any other title in the series. The game was developed by Platinum Games and provides players with a fresh experience that combines epic storytelling with pure action.
