There's a new round of features coming in an update for 2016's Xbox One Preview Program, and they're coming to the console later this month. This time around there's a distinct focus on social features linking from console to PC.

Some of the features to be included with the update that's coming later this month include the ability to see who's in a party before joining, joinable Twitch broadcasts, new Friend Suggestions area in your Community and Friends lists, the ability to compare gamerscore, and other assorted tweaks meant to make the Preview feel a little bit more like the old Dashboard we're used to from the Xbox 360 experience.

Ther are several other updates still pending if you're not really into those, however. There'll be Avatar Store, Xbox News, Trending, and the introduction of compact mode for the Xbox App coming down the pipeline.

You can find additional details on what to expect via Major Nelson's official blog.
