It's the holiday season and Harmonix is giving the gift of Bono. U2 has already made its presence felt in Rock Band 4, but now the game is getting a larger handful of the band's greatest hits. That includes one of the more recent singles off the band's latest album with "The Miracle of Joey Ramone."

The following tracks will be available as part of the "U2 Essentials 01" pack:

  • "Sunday Bloody Sunday"
  • "Pride (In The Name Of Love)"
  • "Where The Streets Have No Name"
  • "Desire"
  • "One"
  • "Vertigo
  • "California (There Is No End To Love)"
  • "The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)"

These eight tracks will be available tomorrow, December 22 for $13.49. They can also be downloaded individually for $1.99. To get a glimpse of what's coming, check out the video below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I had a party where we played Rock Band 3 because it has more of the DLC than RB4.

I super regret my purchase of RB4. :(

Really? Is PS4 still that bad or is it a EU thing? Lots of RBN songs? I found over 400 tracks to download. Less than 10 songs missing for me. :(

I have an XBOX One, which means my ION Drum set doesn't work.

Also, it still is missing Rock Band 1, Rock Band 2, and a bunch of other DLC.

Ah, lack of ion does suck but the statement that more is on rb3 than rb4 isn't true unless you are talking about RBN songs and who gives a shit about those. :)

Sorry, that totally didn't make sense lol. Obviously there are more tracks in rb3 than 4 but it's really close in NA aside from RBN. Gotta be 95+% of the dlc and the exports for the remaining titles are coming.

You can import your rb 3 catalog into rb4 now. There are tons of songs in dlc. I'm pretty sure last time I looked on Friday it said 2004 songs available in the rb store.
