Techland has gradually been releasing new information on Dying Light's upcoming DLC campaign, The Following, most recently offering up a release date. But there hasn't been a lot of information about the story surrounding this new content. That's changing today, as Techland has revealed The Following's first story details.

The Following picks up from the end of the Dying Light campaign and follows Kyle Crane and his band of survivors, as they go beyond the city walls to unknown territory. That territory happens to be under the control of a mysterious group with bad intentions. The light at the end of the tunnel appears to be a cure to the zombie plague, but the mystery is whether it's truly real.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Man I hope they carry the IP on and make #2 eventually, its like the Witcher 3 of Zombie games basically. If you love Zombie games and open world games Dying Light was the Witcher 3 for us this year in that genera its really was that good.
