Kojima Productions' First Game Will Land on PC After Debuting On PlayStation 4

"We are those who play."

After an extremely long and bizarre break from Konami, Hideo Kojima has landed on his feet as head of his new project, Kojima Productions.

Additional details have been divulged since the announcement was made, namely the fact that the first game that will be created by the studio will in fact be exclusive to PlayStation 4, with a PC version becoming available at a later date.

The hows and whys of this decision aren't available to us at this time, as the press release discussing these details was extremely brief and to-the-point about not disclosing details on "how the agreement was realized." There isn't any information on how long the PS4 exclusivity will last, either.

Pretty much all we can say at this point is that, whatever the first title is, it's not a Metal Gear or Silent Hill project, and it'll be something completely new. So that's something to be excited about, but it's too early to get any kind of idea as to what we'll be able to expect.

It'll be interesting to see what ends up happening with this new partnership for sure.
