The second-annual The Game Awards are taking place this evening, and if we learned anything from last year’s awards show, we should expect a number of exclusive premieres in addition to awards being given out.

Last month, we learned what games and development studios have been nominated for an award. Games like Bloodborne, Fallout 4, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are fighting for the coveted Game of the Year award while Nintendo, Kojima Productions, CD Projekt RED are looking to earn the Developer of the Year award.

If you’re like us, you’re going to want to watch all of the action as it unfolds, but where can you watch The Game Awards? Well - we’re here to give you a rundown of various outlets that you can watch the big show later this evening.

You can watch The Game Awards Show live on YouTube and Twitch as both services will be streaming the event. The awards show will also be available to view on Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, which you can head to those respective platforms to watch it yourself.

For your convenience, here’s the direct YouTube stream so you can watch the show for yourself from this very page. Convenient, isn’t it? Be sure to check back a little before 9pm ET / 6pm PT to catch the start of the show.

No, 2015 isn't over, and potentially my "game of the year" unlocks tonight. So, unless they have a time machine, or pretend 2015 year started in November and ended in October, it's a bit premature. This kind of stuff is as worthless as writing final appraisals half way through the cycle.

Yeah, sucks that Xenoblade is going to get totally overlooked.

Hopefully people have enough time with it that it shows up in later GOTY discussions.

Same I really really hope so as well, man I can not wait to finally play Xenoblade X.

Being such a massive Phantasy Star Online DC fan who played SP only I really hope this game is the next evolution of that type concept / type of game but on mega steroids.

Everything I have seen in the videos makes it feel so right(totally my style), I have such a good feeling about this game.

This is why the idea of "Games you should play this year" Should be the new thing instead of ranking games. But people like numbered lists they can glance at and be done with.

Totally agree 100%, I am fine if they pick what they think is the best but for me the key is also to have a list of what you should play and not miss.

So basically have your GOTY and then the games you must play for 2015, that be the best. I think Shack is doing exactly this cause they know what is up.

Is this presented by the same guy as last year's show? I enjoyed that broadcast immensely, much more than I expected to

Yes geoff has been a gaming "host" for a while. I guess he produced the first one with his own money or something to that effect
