Amazon outlines Thanksgiving/Black Friday 2015 Lightning Deals

A day before the Thanksgiving holiday, Amazon has helpfully laid out which games will be available at which times for holiday shoppers.

Update: As noted, while the screenshots below still apply, Amazon has gone and added some more deals. Look for Yoshi's Wooly World, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and a few others that are being added over the course of the day.

As everyone prepares to drive home for the holidays, it's worth mentioning that some people will be making the trek into snow-covered parking lots on Friday morning (or even right after Thanksgiving dinner) to get in line for precious Black Friday deals. That, of course, is insane. But for the non-insane people, there's online shopping and Amazon now appears to have officially lined up its Black Friday deals in calendar form.

Shacknews has helpfully gathered some images of what to expect over the next couple of days:

The notable games include Batman: Arkham Knight, Forza Motorsport 6, Disney Infinity 3.0, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and Mario Kart 7 on Thursday; Guitar Hero Live, Mortal Kombat X, Destiny: The Taken King, NBA 2K16, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and Super Smash Bros for Wii U on Friday; and The Witcher 3, Until Dawn, Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY Edition, and Mad Max on Saturday. This, of course, does not account for daily deals or anything else that Amazon feels like throwing up on a whim.

The full deals calendar can be found on Amazon. The big sale begins tomorrow.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
