The first of many Fallout 4 patches is scheduled to be released as early as next week.

Bethesda Softworks has revealed the first patch for Fallout 4 will be released next week.

Bethesda Game Studios will continue its patch release process of making a beta patch available on Steam, then follow it up with a full release on PC, then release on consoles. “This process has worked well for us in the past and allows us to get more fixes out faster,” the studio writes in a new blog post.

The studio plans on releasing more updates that are smaller and more frequent, instead of a few larger patches throughout the year. This process allows it to make sure each fix is working correctly since any change to the game can have unintentional side effects in a game as large as Fallout 4.

I've pretty much been rolling with the beta drivers. Seems to run fine for me.

I hope they add more keybind options. I'm sick of having the E key off my keyboard

      No word on what's included?

I really hope they take a long, hard look at the PC controls. I'm using a gamepad because I can't do WASD, but damn you to hell if you decide to use something other than WASD.

pop your E key off and bind E to one of your mouse buttons.

I'm an ESDF guy and was always fucking my shit up until i did that

I do WERD; so mapping that forward key onto a mouse button would really suck ass.

It wouldn't even be the biggest deal, if not for the fact that holding Activate ( E ) ends up picking up and dragging corpses. I could work around the system if not for that.
