Today's Nintendo Direct concluded with a Super Smash Bros. reveal that nobody saw coming. Cloud, the iconic hero from Final Fantasy VII, is the latest combatant to hit Nintendo's fighter. He comes with his massive sword and his Limit Bursts to deliver massive punishment to foes.

The trailer also came with a new stage based on Midgar, which features a number of Final Fantasy characters and monsters. Finally, Cloud unleashed his wrath with his Omnislash Final Smash.

But readers may be asking themselves, "Wait, what about the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot results?" Well, Nintendo ended the announcement by revealing that a special broadcast would air in December, which is likely where the answers will come.

But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
