Batman: Arkham Knight rises on PC as Warner Bros. puts it back on sale

It's been a long road for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, but today, WB has made it once again available for sale.

Batman: Arkham Knight is once again available for purchase on PC, Warner Bros. announced today.

The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight was released along with its console counterparts, which we soon learned suffered from poor optimization. Shortly after learning of its many issues, Warner Bros. pulled the game from sale as it worked with Rocksteady and NVIDIA to fix its performance issues. While WB delivered a number of patches for the game, this is the first time the game has been put back on sale since the fiasco started, giving us a clear indication the game is now suitable for the masses to play once again.

To apologize for the inconvenience, WB is offering free digital copies of the entire Batman: Arkham library for those who previously purchased or will purchase it prior to 11:59pm PT on November 16, 2015. The publisher is working with Valve to deliver this promise some time in December.

Rocksteady is also working on a new Community Challenge Pack to thank Batman: Arkham Knight players for their support in getting the PC version up and running again. The pack will be given to all owners of the game in January 2016 with PC players gaining access to the maps a week prior to their console release.

worth playing but with the forced batmobile sequences and painfully clear telegraphing of major reveails I would highly recommend waiting for a sale.

I loved the batmobile portions. So...i recommend getting it now because the game is pretty damn fun.

I liked having it around, I hated it when they made me use it for extended sequences.

Not to start a console/pc war but the batmobile tank stuff was relatively easy on the mouse.

Batmobile is pretty fun. The riddler missions are bad though

Making the final ending behind the riddler trophies is just mean. I just watched it on youtube.

I was so done with the story by the time I finished I didn't even bother.

Same for me. When i read I'd have to collect all those fuckin' trophies just to 100% complete all the boss fights I stopped considering The Riddler part of the game and moved on.

Anything with the Batmobile is still better than the Bat-tank Boss Battles.

And yeah, the story in Knight is handled terribly.

No discount? Not even exclusive content as a thank. umm... ya, going to back burner it for the Winter Sale. It'll almost for sure be 40-75% off at that point. I've waited this long, I can wait another 1-1.5mo.

I hope the "make-up" games are giftable. If not, it's going to really suck for the people who already owned all of the games and were shafted because they put their trust in the developer based on previous work.

That or give the people who don't want (or already have) the previous games a choice from other games.

I hope so too. I'd like to gift them to my b-in-law since I already own them all.
