Following up on the success of WWE Supercard, 2K Games today released NHL Supercard. It's like WWE Supercard, but with hockey.

NHL Supercard features more than 450 cards across 7 rarity levels. The cover athlete is Minnesota Wild's Zach Parise, the NHL All-Star and 2014 Olympic Team Captain. You can take part in quick games to add players to your roster, Season Mode for a week-long simulation, and Rivals Clash to compete against rivals for special rewards. Plus you can train your cards in playmaking, stick handling, focus, and skating.

NHL Supercard is now available as a free download on iOS and Android devices.

I know I'm old twice over when I don't get the appeal of card games, then I also don't get the appeal of digital card games.

sigh. I want to like sports games that don't involve me keeping track of 6+ positions and accurate passing.
