WWE 2K16 Season Pass adds Legends, instant unlockables, and more

WWE 2K16 is looking to make its Season Pass a little more worthwhile by adding the incentive to instantly unlock everything in game, as well as add to its already massive roster.

WWE 2K16 is stepping into the ring in just a few short weeks, already boasting the largest roster in series history. Of course, just like in years past, there will also be a Season Pass in place to help increase the size of that roster just a little more, while also tossing in some additional features.

The Season Pass will run for $24.99. The offerings will include the Accelerator feature, which unlocks all of the game's content immediately. It'll also throw in the Legends Pack, which features six WWE Legends: The Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and Trish Stratus. The 2015 Hall of Fame Showcase will also be included, offering up a number of legendary matches and dream match scenarios, like "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Rikishi vs. The Rock, Alundra Blayze vs. Paige, Larry Zbyszko vs. Arn Anderson, Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair, The Bushwhackers vs. The Natural Disasters, and The Outsiders vs. Harlem Heat. Finally, the Season Pass will add the New Moves Pack (which adds over 30 moves) and the Future Stars Pack, which throws in NXT stars Samoa Joe, Blake & Murphy, and Los Matadores.

WWE 2K16 is set to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on October 27. For more, check out our most recent hands-on with the game.
