The 3rd annual TeSPA Collegiate Hearthstone Championship begins tonight

This year's TeSPA Collegiate Hearthstone Championship kicks off tonight, with UC Berkeley taking on the University of Nevada. Get all the details and watch along with us tonight at 5PM PT.

For this year's TeSPA Collegiate Hearthstone Championship, Blizzard and The eSports Association are introducing a new format that will see colleges field teams. Those wondering how this new format will play out won't have to wait too long to find out. Registration is now closed and the first match is set to take place tonight.

Battle.net issues a reminder that tonight's games will begin at 5PM PT. UC Berkeley (the school that took the inaugural Heroes of the Dorm tournament) will face off against the University of Nevada in the West bracket, while the University of Texas Austin will take on the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Both of these matches will be best of three.

The tournament will commence each Monday and Tuesday for the next several weeks and will conclude with the Grand Finals, which will take place on Sunday, November 22. To catch today's action, visit the Hearthstone Twitch channel or catch it all below.
