The Escapists: The Walking Dead adds a whole new twist to the prison breakout game by adding zombies. This time, instead of finding clever ways to break out of the prison, players take the role of Rick Grimes, who must find ways to secure the prison as a safe haven. That means heading into town, scavanging materials, and constructing new ways to battle the undead menace. The newest trailer takes us to the city of Alexandria, Virginia as featured in the comics and TV show, where the group must struggle to survive. Whether or not the Alexandria Safe Zone will somehow be featured remains to be seen.

The Escapists: The Walking Dead is expected to release later this year (Steam lists September 30th) for Xbox One and PC.
