Let's take a trip back to 2013, around that year's Game Devleopers Conference, to be more precise. Epic Games released a tech demo called "Infiltrator," which showed off the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4. Need a reminder? Let's check it out below.

Fast-forward to today, with Epic now announcing that the Infiltrator project is now available to download for free. This will allow game developers or simply those with high-end PC GPUs to download for their own personal use, including in any Unreal Engine 4-based projects.

Of course, UE4 has changed quite a bit since Infiltrator was first unveiled, so the assets might need some tweaking For more information on that, check out the Unreal Engine website.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
