Sony announced a new Hot Shots Golf game is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and is expected to release in Japan sometime in 2016.

The PlayStation 4 version of Hot Shots Golf is being described as an open-world golf entertainment title that allows players to create their own golf courses. The game is being developed by Clap Hanz.

In addition to its announcement, Sony has also released the first trailer for the new Hot Shots Golf game which can be viewed below.
