Lionsgate working on Borderlands film

Lionsgate revealed today they are currently working on a Borderlands film with the producers behind Iron Man, Spider Man, and more.

Lionsgate is currently developing a film based on the Borderlands video games.

The studio will collaborate with 2K and Gearbox Software on the project. Producers Avi and Ari Arad will be working on the film. The two were involved in the creation of such notable film franchises as Iron Man, Spider Man, Blade, and Ghost Rider.

No other information was given regarding the film, although we can’t help but assume it’ll offer a similar feel as 2015’s Mad Max film. We can also safely assume we’ll be enjoying the delightfully-chaotic planet of Pandora, which we hope Tiny Tina will be involved in some form.

          The writing for both of those were the culprit, not the guy saying words

            1. I believe Sir Calamity was making a funny.
            2. Sorry, but Dinklage was awful in Destiny. The writing wasn't great and the direction was bad, but he's just as much to blame.

            The writing in Destiny is pretty shit, but his performance was as well. Dude is amazing in GoT but he phoned that VO in from a deep sleep by the sound of it.

          It's Borderlands. While a reasonably fun game, the writing isn't exactly great. You can virtually guarantee the movie will be awful no matter what.
