The HTC Vive will have a major presence at this year's PAX Prime and now it's starting to get some additions on the software side. Valve announced today that two new games would join the virtual reality lineup: Fantastic Contraption from Radial Games & Northway Games and Final Approach from Phaser Lock Interactive.

Fantastic Contraption is an exploration game, originally released back in 2008, with the original game still playable online. Meanwhile, Final Approach puts players in the cockpits of various vintage military aircraft.

Those present at PAX Prime this year can check out the games on an HTC Vive off-site at 8th and Pine. Other demos will also be available. Find the full details on the Steam VR website.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
