Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have announced that Forza Motorsport 6 has gone gold. That means it will definitely make its planned September 15 release date on Xbox One, but a more immediate dividend can be found this coming Tuesday when the Forza Motorsport 6 demo hits the Xbox Store.

The Forza Motorsport 6 demo will include a handful of available vehicles. While the exact number of demo tracks has not been revealed, a selection of them will include rain and night racing. As an incentive, those that download and play the demo will get the new Ford GT vehicle in their garage when the full version of the game releases.

Turn 10 has also unveiled another handful of cars set to come to the full game. They include:

  • 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S
  • 1979 BMW #6 BMW Motorsport M1 Procar
  • 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar
  • 2014 Audi #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports R8 LMS ultra
  • 2014 BMW #5 Ebay Motors 125i M Sport

  • 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT
  • 1976 Lotus #5 Team Lotus 77

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

As a HUGE Forza fan I couldn't agree more. I simply don't have enough time to play between releases to get even close to being burned out on the previous release. Right now I have both F5 and FH2 to play, and no time to do so, and with F6 coming out, of course I'm going to have to buy it, but holy shit, that will be 3 at a time that I'll want to play :D

Just skip Forza 5 at this point. It felt rushed to meet console launch so it is missing a lot of the off track stuff. Forza 6 should blow it away.
