Quake 3 1.17 (no DLL's), high detail setting (/w high geometry + r_picmip 0) - timedemo 1:
Athlon 800, 256m RAM, Voodoo5 5500 -- 63.2 fps
P2-400, 128m RAM, Geforce DDR -- 66.4 fps
This benchmark was run in 640 to toally remove any cpu bottleneck. As you can see, in Quake 3 the Voodoo5 5500 seems to be a sack of shit even when compared to a Geforce DDR, nevermind a GTS or Ultra.
This obviously applies only to Quake 3, but it is interesting to see none the less.
