Rockstar Games’ western action game, Red Dead Redemption, has now shipped over 14 million copies since its release back in 2010.

Take-Two Interactive shared the figure in its latest shareholder outreach document. One slide within the document not only reveals this milestone, but it also claims the game “rejuvenated the western entertainment genre” and notes its downloadable content was “commercially successful.”

Considering how successful Red Dead Redemption has been for Rockstar Games, we still find it strange it’s been five years since its release with no word of a proper sequel yet. We understand Rockstar is keeping itself busy making Grand Theft Auto 5 available on every platform possible, but we think the world needs a new western action game sooner rather than later.

it'd probably be dark souls 1-bad, given the complete lack of PC games out of the studio that had made it in the last like.. 10-15 years, haha

Even a shitty port would run great on modern PC's. They should just like get it working good in an emulator, then stuff that whole bitch into an installer, and put it on Steam and make millions of dollars.
