Dead Island Definitive Edition may have been leaked by retailer listing

Deep Silver appears to be working on a Definitive Edition of Dead Island as a retailer has leaked its listing.

Deep Silver may be working on a definitive edition of Dead Island, that’s if a listing from South African retailer Loot.co.za is to be believed.

Dead Island Definitive Edition is listed to be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and is scheduled to be released on November 13, 2015. The listing doesn’t disclose what we can expect from the Definitive Edition, such as graphical improvements, the inclusion of DLC content, or if Dead Island: Riptide will also be included.

Today’s news just comes days after Deep Silver announced it was pulling Yager from developing Dead Island 2. Considering how much longer it’ll take for fans of the series to get the sequel, releasing a Definitive Edition would ensure we don’t forget about the series any time soon. Deep Silver is no stranger to offering new versions of old properties as Risen 3: Titan Lord Enhanced Edition was announced for an August release and we already saw Saints Row 4 get re-released on current gen consoles.

We've reached out to Deep Silver in hopes to update our story with an official confirmation.
